Alpacas in the field….

This was my Christmas present to myself. This next year I am fully stepping into the development of my passion project - creating a healing retreat center for women. No doubt you will hear more about this because I'll be writing my way through it, but if the concept intrigues - reach out. I love to talk about the vision!

But back to the sign that hangs in my living room. As with all big, crazy and audacious goals, the first step is to claim it and share it. Once you launch the idea into the universe the birthing process has already begun.

I shared my vision with my kids. My eleven year old was especially excited. One of the features I am looking for on the property is lots of outdoor space to give women the freedom to explore, reflect and heal. My eleven year old was especially excited about this and said, "Can there be a couple alpacas there."

Back story. I love alpacas. Always have. There is something so gentle and calming about them. I have a bucket list from years ago that has "own an alpaca farm" on it. I had forgotten until that moment when she spoke.

"Absolutely!" I replied definitively.

If you can dream it. It can be.

And so I have this sign hanging on the wall as a reminder until the day I will hang it on the gate.

Do not creep quietly into 2021. Blow the hinges off the door and leap through. Frankly there is just a mess of burning rubble behind us anyway. Let's burn this sucker down and rebuild in extraordinary ways!
